Before booking
The price is set by each sitter and depends on your pet's size and the type of service: boarding is priced per night and daycare per hour. The price you see on each profile is already the final one and includes our 12% service fee, which covers secure payment processing, support, and refunds when applicable.
You search for sitters in your area, check their profiles and reviews, and pick the one you like best. You choose the dates, enter your pet's details and request the booking, without paying yet. The sitter accepts it, and only then do you pay securely online. The service starts on the agreed day and time and ends on the date and time set. You coordinate everything with the sitter through the chat.
Each sitter validates their identity by uploading their ID (front and back) and a selfie before they can receive bookings, and only verified ones appear in search. But we don't stop there: at WooF! we personally reach out to every sitter to explain how the platform works, share recommendations and get to know how committed they are. If a profile doesn't earn our trust, we deactivate it. That's why, out of all registered sitters, we only show the ones who passed this filter.
Yes, with no commitment at all. On the profile you see photos, description, approximate area, rates and reviews from other owners. You can also message the sitter before booking: you create your account right there, on the profile, and send a message through the chat. You can also leave a public question on their profile, with your email and phone, for them to answer. That way you ask anything you want before deciding.
During the service
You choose a sitter with verified identity, a complete profile and real reviews from other owners. During the service you can chat with them whenever you want to coordinate and ask for updates, and they can send you photos of your pet through the chat so you can see them and feel at ease. When it ends, you leave your own review to help the rest of the community.
It depends on the type of service each sitter offers, which you can see on their profile. It can be at the sitter's home (you drop off at the start of the service and pick up when it ends, so your pet stays in a home environment with personalized attention) or at your home, where the sitter comes to you. Some sitters offer both options.
If your pet needs veterinary care during the service, the sitter commits to contacting you immediately and taking them to the nearest vet. That's why we recommend leaving your trusted vet's details with the sitter at the start of the service. Veterinary expenses are the owner's responsibility.
Cancellations and payments
You pay with a credit card, debit card or your Mercado Pago account. Payment is held by WooF! until the service is completed: the sitter receives their share afterwards. If something goes wrong, we refund 100%.
You have several options depending on the timing: if you cancel within 2 hours of booking, we refund 100% regardless of the service date. If you cancel more than 12 hours before the service starts, we also refund 100%. With less notice, you get 50%. Once the service has started, no cancellations are accepted. If the sitter cancels, it's always a full refund.
We refund 100% of the payment automatically and our team helps you find an alternative sitter in your area as quickly as possible.
Yes. If after chatting with the sitter you don't feel comfortable, you can cancel within 2 hours of booking with a full refund. No justification needed.
